Earth Day: Thursday, April 22, 2010

Board Meetings: RNC regular board meetings are scheduled the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm.  Meetings are held at the MSU Extension Office Building in Fremont at the Newaygo County Fairgrounds located on 817 S. Stewart Avenue. 

Annual Meeting - Recycling for Newaygo County will hold its annual meeting on May 6, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. at the Daisy Brook Elementary School Cafeteria in Fremont. The public is invited.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection - The Newaygo County Board of Public Works has arranged for a free disposal of your Hazardous Waste at the Newaygo County Road Commission Garage in June, 2010. HHW includes all toxic materials, pesticides, automotive fluids, oil based paint only,  and batteries found in your home or garage. Appointments must be made by calling 231-689-7225 to leave your name and number on voice mail. They will get back to you to set up a time.
